Chino Hills - The Best Kept Secret in Southern California

Chino Hills is centrally located, more than any other city in Southern California. About 25 miles southeast of Los Angeles, it is closer to Palm Springs, closer to San Diego, closer to Las Vegas, and closer to the best destinations in Orange County (and Disneyland kids). On the west & south, it borders the Chino Hills State Park, 11,000 acres of nature, with over 60 miles of hiking, biking and horse trails. On the east, it borders the City of Chino and a huge flood plain owned by the Army Corp. of Engineers. On the north, are the cities of Pomona & Ontario. Since 1922, the Pomona Fairplex has been the home of the world famous LA County Fair. The fairplex hosts hundreds of exciting events every year. The Ontario International Airport is only about 15 minutes to the north and very convenient when you have to get away.

The City of Chino Hills was incorporated in 1991 and has now grown in population to 80,897 residents (2005 Census). It was ranked No. 68 in a 2005 Money Magazine article about the best 100 places to live. This has all added up to what I call "The Best Kept Secret in Southern California". A lot of people think they want to live in Orange or San Diego Counties. I get stressed out just driving down one of their busy streets. Chino Hills offers the best of both worlds, all the comforts of a big city in a very beautiful and rural atmosphere; and still less than an hour away from any of the major destinations in Southern California.
